Role:
- Manage the institutions Item Processing operations in India with accountability for revenue and profitability
- Have ownership of staffing model for the site, resource planning and budgetary allocations
- Ensure SLA adherence for all functions under Item Processing Service
- Deliver on client benefits through innovation and improvements
- Actively use process improvement methodologies to streamline existing processes
- Solve complex issues by proactively identifying and eliminating root cause barriers to accuracy, productivity, and quality
- Hire, manage, and develop high performing teams
- Build domain expertise across team
- Support new initiatives through creation of proposal material and client discussion documents
Requirements:
- 8-13 yrs of experience in banking operations, with good knowledge of item processing
- Handled operations with span of 200+ FTEs across multiple locations
- Knowledge around process excellence initiatives (Six Sigma, Lean, benchmarking, specific initiatives and best practices). Certification as a six sigma black belt would be a plus.
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Energetic, cooperative and pleasant personality with good people management skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills also required to agree on targets, challenge unreasonable demands and set expectations in an amicable and collaborative manner
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
