Java Practice Head

Will be responsible for defining the Java strategy for the organization, managing the Java roadmap covering the entire ecosystems involving Java development frameworks and tools.
The ideal candidate should have experience of heading and incubating Java Practices and has to build it from scratch.
Will be required to drive effective strategies for sales and lead generation, “Go-To-Market” approaches, practice management, and client interaction.
Will have the overall responsibility of managing Java practice inclusive of Solution Development, Sales and Business Development, Operations Management, and Delivery Assurance.
Measures of success will be number of deals in the pipeline as well as deals won.
Will be required to work closely with our sales team as well as delivery teams and manage revenue target.
Assess and evaluate market trends in Java and bring what is relevant and applicable for our organization onto our Java development environment (both tools and frameworks).
Lead the Java COE, mentor teams and effectively utilize resources etc.
Chalk out a strategy and drive the Java practice team.
Provide guidelines to the sales team and help them in pitching Java technologies to target customers.
Define and manage the Java Framework, Java technologies covering core Java, J2EE, EJBs, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, Spring etc.
Support requirements analysis, design and architecture definition.
Develop relationship/partnership with key stakeholders in the Java world such as “Java Community” etc., which would help the company gain mileage.
Key Skills and Experience:
Should be an Engineering Graduate / Post Graduate / MCA with a minimum of 10 years experience in Java technologies covering core Java, J2EE, EJBs, Hibernate, JSF, Struts, Spring, etc.
Strong technical experience / exposure to EJB, JPA, JEE Design Patterns (Singleton / DAO / Factory / MVC), Web Service Integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML).
