The Principal is responsible for the management and day-to-day operations and business of the school. ... As it is the Chair's role to act as the Board's primary channel of communication with the Principal, trust, honesty and respect between the Principal and the Chair are essential aspects of good governance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- PRINCIPALS

The principal is the administrative and professional leader of the

school, and as such, he/she is directly responsible to the Superintendent for

its successful operation. The major effect of the principal is in the field of

educational leadership and supervision, with stress on the improvement of

teaching and learning. To bring about this improvement, he/she should call

upon all of the resources of the school division.

1.1Supervision of Instruction:- 

The primary duty of the principal is to develop and implement an

effective instructional program appropriate to the pupils in

his/her school. 

2. Supervision of School Property:-

Principals have general supervision of the grounds, building, and

appurtenances of the school, and are responsible for his/her

neatness and cleanliness. 

3.Make Recommendations

Principals may submit recommendations to the Superintendent

for the appointment, assignment, promotion, transfer and

dismissal of all personnel assigned to his/her supervision. etc.

Education :- Doctorate or M.Phil .PHD with 60 % marks.

Monthly salary :- 1.15 Lakhs to 1.45 Lakhs
