IT Manager

- Reporting to the Administrative Manager, the IT Manager will be responsible for the Following points:
-Develop and implement IT strategy in support of company’s mission and objectives.
-Develop an IT business plan budget and monitor the implementation of these to ensure that targets are met.
-Manage the procurement, development and implementation of hardware and software facilities to ensure timely and cost effective provision of service.
-Develop, implement, monitor and control IT Policies and Procedures in line with International standards ensuring applicability to the business environment.
-Quarterly evaluate overall operations of IT function and recommend enhancements.
-Lead on proposed solutions, end-to-end implementation, operation, maintenance and support of IT components
-Experience in majority of Application, database and data management such as ERP system, Servers, storage, and related technologies.
-Networking and related services such as routing, switching, LAN, WAN, WLAN, POP, PTP, PTMP etc.
-Information security on various layers –Network, System, Application.
-Data center – managing services, sizing, infrastructure.
-Manages the overall IT service delivery and service support of the enterprise.
-Lead and manage implementation of IT projects and sub-projects, Coordinate with PMO on non-technical aspect such as resources, timeline.
Skills:
-IT Bachelor or Engineering university degree in Information Technology.
-Preferred having a certified Data Center Certificate will be an advantage, mostly preferred (CDCAP or CDCMP).
-Preferred to have certifications from Cisco, Emc, Oracle, Microsoft ...
-Proven experience of not less 5 years in field, of those, at least 2 years’ experience in same role.
-IT Infrastructure background to include storage, virtualization, cloud computing and datacenter
-Knowledge in business Application systems such as ERP, Helpdesk, ...
-Leadership and management skills are highly evaluated.
-Knowledge of dealing with multicultural staff and stakes.
-Excellent communication, organization, presentation, time and project management.
-Technical Skills to include: Cisco, EMC, Sun, Storage, UNIX, Networking, Switching, Datacenter management,
-Programming, SQL Server, Oracle DB... related knowledge certifications are considered advantages
-Fluent spoken and written English Language, Arabic is a plus. Excellent writing and technical writing skills.
-Capability to work under pressure and particularly with incident responses, considering SLA levels too.
