Job Description ? Responsible for recruitment and retention of staff. Employee engagement. Orientation of new staff members, and training ? Ensure the operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities ? Work with line managers to identify staffing needs, and identify hiring potentials based on budget ? Conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes ? Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy ? Assists with development/implementation of performance evaluation and rewards systems ? Employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances and sickness ? Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource statutory requirements ? Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace and positive working environment ? Develop and implement employee engagement programs, team building exercises, skill improvement seminars ? Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Education and Experience: ? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources ? Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration ? Strong interpersonal skills both oral and written ? Good understanding of statutory requirements and regulations ? Experience administering employee benefit plans, recruitment and compensation plans.
