Ø Review Contractors HSE Plan, monitor and ensure
implementation of the approved HSE plan.
Ø Evaluate Contractor's key HSE personnel and make
recommendations to CLIENT for their approval.
Ø Conduct regular HSE Inspection/Audits and SOCs (Safety
Observations and Conversations).
Ø Interface with Contractors HSE staff, CLIENT HSE department
and Plant Operations HSE.
Ø Collect Safety Statistics and issue Safety Performance
Statistics
Ø Monitor project Safety programme to ensure it supports
progress through proactive planning with the Project Manager (PM).
Ø Encourage staff to adopt Company Safety Standards best
practices in HSE.
Ø Evaluate the HSE performance on an ongoing basis.
Ø Make recommendations for improvement to QHSE Manager and
Management.
Ø Ensure emergency procedures are established.
Ø Conduct accident (if any) investigations.
Ø Conduct HSE induction / orientation for new personnel.
Ø Audit equipment certifications to ensure they are current.
Ø Assist QHSE in Issuing of Safety Bulletins as necessary.
Attend the project
meetings including weekly and monthly meetings.
