Job Profile/Description:

• Develop Magento and PHP based ecommerce applications with Object Oriented MVC architecture.

• Collaborate with the HTML & Design Team to develop the Frontend using Bootstrapping.

• Front-end development utilizing JavaScript (jQuery/Prototype) and AJAX. Participate in Design and Development of new features in the product. Effectively communicate status, metrics and issues on a regular basis.

Should be able to execute assigned tasks in a timely & efficient manner. Assist team members & colleagues to solve technical issues.

• Good skills in XML & Web services (SOAP, REST).

• Familiarity with and adherence to web standards and best practices for load time reduction and accessibility

Desirable skill set:

* Excellent knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, and Javascript libraries such as jQuery/Prototype

* Minimum 2-3 years working with Magento

* Experience working with 3rd party integrations and API's

* Understanding of layouts and templates in Magento
