Head Quality Control (Mechanical Department)

JOB PROFILE:
Overall responsibilities of the quality of incoming, manufactured in-house and outsourced products as per the customer drawings.
Supervise the inspection of components with latest revised drawings and specifications and maintaining records for the same.
Check the parts as per drawings in-house and at vendor end and maintaining the records for the same.
Certifying the quality related documents as per Vijay Transtech and customer requirements.
Overall responsibilities to develop, implement and maintain an effective and professional quality management system as per requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the company.
Collection and analysis of data for nonconforming products.
Preparation of documents like flow chart, process sheet, process capability reports and quality plan for all products.
EXPERIENCE:
1. Good experience and exposure to various processes like Castings, Forging, Precision Machined parts on CNC & VMC machine, Sheet Metal & Fabrication,
2. Hands on experience in Inspection & Testing by using measuring instruments like , Surface Tester, Profile projector and other measuring instruments and gauges.
3. Experience in Metallurgical and Mechanical testing of materials like Chemical analysis, Hardness testing, etc.
4. Strong knowledge and exposure to Quality Management Systems like ISO 9001:2008, TS 16949 and concepts like APQP, PPAP, SPC, Control Charts.
Currently this position is at Mahape… we will be shifting to Bhiwandi in next 4-5 months… so will prefer the candidate from Kalyan side.
