Job Specifications

Must have Minimum 10 Years Plus with a MEP contracting company specializing in building projects(Industrial and commercial)out of which 4 years in the middle east.

Must be B.E in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.

Job Descriptions:

Overall responsibility for procurement, Vendor development, value engineering for all subcontracted scope of works including purchase of bulk materials & consumables for a particular country/region within the business so as to deliver higher profitability.

Responsibilities :

Associate with the work winning team right at the bid stage to price the project and also identify sub contractors for outsourced work and get the best rates to be competitive in the market.

Enter in business partnering with identified key suppliers and vendors and sign up MOUs with them so that the company can enjoy facilities like open credits, annual rate contracts, highly competitive rates at the bid stage itself etc. and which gives clearly a competitive edge in the market.

Plan in coordination with Project Managers / MEP Coordinators for the material requirements, verification & assure timely delivery as required linking it to the work progress and delivery schedules.

Ensure timely raising of LPO's as per the material requisition plan submitted by the site management teams, specially for long lead items, and ensure their delivery as per approved specifications linking it to the delivery schedules of the respective projects with zero idling time in operations due to lack of materials at site

Identify and prequalify new vendors and suppliers in terms of their suitability of getting associated with AGNICE/ROOFTEK through identified parameters as incorporated in the quality management systems of the company related to the subject on a continuous basis.

Monitor the performance of the approved suppliers continually through the vendor evaluation mechanism and as incorporated in the quality management systems and weed out those who are not meeting our requirements.
