Job Description
1. PROCESS & PRODUCT:Responsible for all the technological
activities at the designated area Implement new product releases as per
NPD planImprove Product performance& qualityProcess developmental
activities to reduce cost, time, rework, scrap, defect %System
implementation, monitoring and control
2. TECHNICAL ECONOMY:Product
specification optimization in the designated area
3. CLAIMS &
LOSSES: Monitor products in order to bring in continuous improvement,
and keep claims and losses to a minimum
4. SELECTION OF RAW MATERIAL
SOURCES:Work towards reducing input materials costContinuously audit and
develop new vendorsConduct trials for the development of new sources
for the existing raw material.
5. TECHNICAL & QUALITY TASKS:Provide
technical know-how and inputs to the designated areaEnsure quality
improvement in different process areasConduct field visits to monitor
performance and customer feedback
6. CAPABILITY BUILDING:Continuously
enhance technical know-how of manpower through trainings and
exposureKnowledge of Export incentive from government of India claims
for any export that can be claimed, general accounting, banking
