Global Sourcing & Supply (GSS), a subsidiary of BMMI, is looking to recruit a skillful and capable Finance Manager to provide a comprehensive range of financial, tax, and administration services to support the operations in Libreville, Gabon.
You will work with a high degree of independence, delivering excellence in service standards, ensuring contractual compliance as per client requirements and achieving financial targets.
This is a family status position with a fixed annual leave of 26 days per annum in a difficult environment. You must be fluent in French and have broad knowledge of French accounting standards (OHADA etc.).

Desired Experience:
• A minimum of four years’ work experience in managing an accounting/finance function of a medium sized service organisation
• Experience in the catering and hospitality sector, ideally in remote sites and difficult environments, where little or no modern support infrastructure is available
• Experience of working in Francophone African countries
Education:
• A Bachelor’s degree in commerce and/ or accounting
• Professional qualification in accounting like CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA
Knowledge:
• Company and finance divisional policies, procedures & objectives
• Knowledge of tax laws or the ability to rapidly acquire the knowledge of local tax laws
• Knowledge of OHADA/ IFRS financial reporting guidelines
Skills:
• Highly numerate and methodical, with good attention to detail
• Analytical and able to conduct thorough investigations
• Appropriate and accurate consolidation of financial information
• Preparation of meaningful and accurate reports
• Strategic thinking
• Negotiation abilities
• PC proficiency in Ms Office and related internal systems
• Written and spoken skills in French and English
