Dot Net Developer

Position Summary:
· Responsible for programming on specific application subsets of the client’s application portfolio.
· Participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle, typically for an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizing various customer technology platforms.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
· Works with business analysts to define scope and features of solutions.
· Reviews business processes and scope as provided by business analysts.
· Participates in the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary.
· Develops list of final enhancements.
· Develops and defines application scope and objectives and develops/supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications.
· Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
· Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.
· Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
· Key contributor on development projects.
· Act as a team member to implement and plan small to medium technical initiatives and coordinates associated work efforts.
Skills:
· Essential skills include designing and developing solutions using .NET/C# & VB, ASP.NET (Web Forms, MVC, Web API, Web Pages), NET Framework 3.5 and ASP.NET Core 1.1 T (MVC, Web API) and above, Web Services (RESTful, WCF).
· Experience building scalable and secure enterprise web applications is a must.
· Proficiency in Web Services (SOAP/REST), SOA concepts, Web Front End and Batch programming.
· Experience in developing private and public Web APIs, using ASP.NET Web API.
· Experience in JavaScript frameworks AngularJS, jQuery etc.
· Experience in HTML5, CSS3, and one or more of the Responsive CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.
· Experience in SQL Server or other RDBMS such as Oracle.
· Experience in Visual Studio 2013 (or above) with TFS and/or GIT and IIS.
· Experience in Agile and Waterfall development methodologies a strong plus.
· Communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization.
· Experience in Hyland OnBaseusing workflow, work view, API etc. is a plus.
· Should be comfortable with troubleshooting roles; General interest and working knowledge/desire and ability to learn new technologies.
Qualifications:
· 3 or more years related experience; multi-platform experience.
· BS Computer Science or management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
· Microsoft certifications such as MCSP or MCP a plus.
· Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
· Have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support.
· Multi database and/or multi language preferred.
