Purpose
Supervises installations and construction activities to ensure work is performed according to specification and regulations.
Level Criteria
• Able to execute all the assigned tasks and duties, related to own discipline, with independence and minimal guidance.
• Demonstrate constructive and cooperative working relationships, coordinating with other Inspector disciplines, and maintaining them over time.
• Retrieving, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant SSH systems.
• A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.
• The ability to highlight when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and reporting it to the Senior Inspector.
• Work in projects in accordance to Inspector level as defined in the Project Management Plan document.
• Required to practice to Health and Safety standards and procedures on projects
Context
Role resides within Construction Services Division
Reports to Senior Inspector for internal matters
Reports to Project RE for project matters
Primary points of Contact:
• Project Support: Chainman, Document Controllers, Secretaries (Data Management)
• Other Inspectors across disciplines (Coordination of work)
• Site Engineers / Architects / Landscape / Interior Design (Receives instructions, updates & coordination)
• RE (Receive instructions)
Indicative Requirements
• 5+ years of post-graduate onsite experience.
• Associated diploma (Location Dependent)
• Registered Membership in Origin and Local Country (Location Dependent)
