Job Description:
The IT Systems Operations seeking a Data Power Administrator that will provide support to DEV, SIT, TST and Production data power appliances, data power domains and all rules defined within those domains. This position is responsible to play the role of data power developer and data power administrator for promoting change created by data power developer through the environments and into production.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, install and maintain the Data Power x server’s appliances, ensuring that all changes are performed professionally and with minimal operational impact. Provide 3rd tier 24 x 7 support and software maintenance. Document all applications.
• Manage configuration and maintenance of Data Power appliance. Should be familiar with SSL protocol, key exchange (public and private), digital signatures, crypto graphic algorithms, and certificate authorities. Configure and manage network access to the appliance. Be familiar with XML, XML style sheet language transformation (LSLT), XPath, and SML Schema Definition (XSD) SOAP and Web Services.
• Manage the day to day operations of the appliance. Manage the domain backups, as well as lifecycle migration of primary objects. Manage access to all resources, access policies, Role Based Management (RBM), cryptographic keys, authentication, and authorization. Managing the firmware image and be able to apply firmware images, and rollback an upgrade.
• Interfaces between the applications, other IT Operation teams, IT Dev group, and other corporate teams, install and maintain DEV, SIT, TST, and Production Java applications, J2EE application servers, and assure optimum performance of the applications.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
• Two plus years of data power appliances experience.
• Three plus years of IT experience in middleware applications, including Java, J2EE, XML, JavaScript, BPM and DHTML.
• One plus years of experience in Oracle 10g/11g SOA, ESB and BPEL integration and administration preferred.
• Experience in trouble shooting Multiprotocol Gateways and Web Service Proxies.
• Highly skillful in installation and administration of clustered H/A middleware environments.
• Working experience on UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms, and shell scripting
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills
