Correspondent/ Content Writer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Write high-impact features/ stories about advertising & Marketing
Report and write news stories for publication or broadcast, describing the background and details of events.
Arrange interviews with people who can provide information about a particular story.
Review copy and correct errors in content, grammar, and punctuation, following prescribed editorial style and formatting guidelines.
Review and evaluate notes taken about event aspects in order to isolate pertinent facts and details.
Determine a story's emphasis, length, and format, and organize material accordingly.
Research and analyze background information related to stories in order to be able to provide complete and accurate information.
Cover the beats for certain subjects.
Write, edit, and revise body copy for articles.
Work on projects for magazines, blogs, or newspapers.
Skills Required:
At least 4 years journalism experience, with a substantial interest ..
Excellence in analysis and interpretation.
An experience in any of the leading media house would be preferable
Graduation/PG in Journalism/advertising/media with a forte towards writing
Must have strong written and spoken English.
Should have a liking for interacting with people and a nose for news.
Should like the thrill of breaking news and stories
Should respect deadlines & must be good in Planning & Organizing Skills
Should be open to learning and mastering Web and Publications
Should be a systematic person with multi-tasking capabilities
