The essential duties and responsibilities below are not intended to be all-inclusive. Following established professional standards of practice and code of ethics, the Supervisor:
Provides weekly individual and group supervision to up to 12 staff and interns as assigned.
Provide leadership, support, and clinical and administrative supervision of clinical staff (including ICMS case managers, LCSW, etc.), to ensure delivery of high-quality client support
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of BBS licensing requirements and disseminates information to relevant staff.
Tracks individual and group supervision attendance and maintains necessary documentation for each session, according to BBS standards.
Acts as liaison with universities to ensure a positive relationship and compliance with their internship programs.
Leads weekly case consultation meetings with case management staff.
Provides clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and other direct client services (manages a small caseload) as needed.
Performs chart review at regular intervals.
Builds and maintains relationships with community-based mental health service providers, coordinating agencies, and governmental agencies. Represents Century in appropriate meetings and training.
Attends property-services meetings as needed to provide insight and consultation on housing retention for clients.
Collaborates and meets regularly with Director, Resident Services to support staff’s clinical and professional development.
Assists VP, Residential Services in design and implementation of training curriculum, including onboarding and orientation activities.
Assists with grant requests, required reports, and contract compliance.
Shared after-hours on-call duties to respond to crises as needed.
Possess a current and active California license that is not under suspension or probation as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
A minimum of 3 years of experience working with crisis assessment, stabilization, and linkage services;
Experience working with homeless adults, preferably those struggling with mental illness and/or substance addictions
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising staff, client services, program development, and evaluation and possess necessary leadership skills.
Have practiced psychotherapy during at least two (2) years out of the last five (5) years prior to the commencement of supervision or provided direct supervision to ASWs, Associate Professional Clinical Counselors during at least two (2) years out of the last five (5) years prior to the commencement of supervision. cookie clicker
Supervision of psychotherapy performed
Knowledge of and expertise in clinical quality assurance, clinical charting methods, and clinical best practices. Preferred relevant knowledge specific to Century’s client population ranging from Veterans, Formerly Homeless, and persons with Severe Mental Illness. Knowledge of or experience with Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Informed Care, and the Housing First Model. Must be flexible, detailed oriented, and willing to take on special projects.
Possess leadership and supervisory skills, and at least three years of progressively responsible experience in a leadership role.
