We are looking to hire a new Cook who will be responsible for preparing awesome dishes for our guests on schedule. Duties will include prepping meals by weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, cooking meals, checking ingredients for freshness, and arranging and garnishing the dishes. You will also be in charge of ensuring that the kitchen and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important.
To be successful in this job, you will need a thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation. You will also have a profound mix of skills in preparing traditional Nigerian dishes, continental dishes, sweets and pastries. Prior experience in a related position is an advantage

Responsibilities
· Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
· Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
· Cook food in various utensils or grillers
· Check food while cooking to stir or turn
· Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
· Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
· Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
· Ensure quality of ingredients including freshness
· Monitor stock and place orders to forestall shortages
· Prepare awesome meals for our customers.
· Weigh, measure, mix and prep ingredients according to recipes.
· Steam, grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fish, vegetables, and other ingredients.
· Prepare snacks including pastries.
· Arrange and garnish dishes.
· Work well under pressure and within the time limit.
· Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are cleaned.
