Centre Manager

Salary Between 30K - 35K,
Location - Jalandhar,
Exp:- 3-5 Year, Male & Female.
Shift Timing 1pm to 10pm.
The General Gym Manager has overall responsibility for effectively managing all facets of a particular gym location to include customer satisfaction, effective recruitment and selection, proper training of the staff, employee personnel issues, sales & membership solicitation, facility cleanliness while ensuring the club is achieving projected membership/sales goals as well as all other established goals.
Major Responsibilities:
Management Duties:
• As the overall manager of the facility to administers the Company’s policies and procedures.
• Properly manage and maintain Gym operational budget.-
• Control payroll costs to fall within projected budget
• Audit and approve submission of payroll to HR and Directors for processing.
• Responsible for overseeing the sales process and systems to ensure that stats are 100% accurate and submitted on a timely basis
• Manage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managers.
• Monitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all gym level staff
• Be able to train and mentor subordinates who can be then considered for promotion to the next level.
• Communicate with team members through daily scheduled huddle & meetings.
• Properly delegate, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of all the team members including Sales, front desk and training teams.
• Ensure that all staff is adhering to staff uniform policy including uniform and name tags at all times when on duty.
• Responsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all gym level employees.
• Responsible for monitoring all incident reports filed at gym involving members and staff.
• Approves all schedules of each gym department – timing / shift etc.
• Oversee maintenance of inventory levels of office and retail supplies.
• Submit all new hire and termination information to HO as required.
• Manage the entire club & achieve profitability targets.
Operational Duties:
• Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high volume retail environment through personal actions and development of the staff.
• Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
• Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis including in house as well as outbound sales promotional or corporate events.
• Hold weekly department meetings which includes Operations Supervisor, Gym Sales Manager, personal train’s, and Maintenance/Housekeeping Supervisor
• Inspect facility daily for cleanliness using the gym daily walk through list.
• Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and operationally sound.
• Ensure the functionality of equipment and physical plant with maintenance department on a monthly basis using the GM equipment maintenance checklist.
Sales Duties:
• Establish and maintain the company protocol for sales tours and price presentation.
• Establishes and maintain an active referral system with the sales team-
• Develop and retain corporate client relationships through the sales team on a monthly basis.
• Oversee the Sales Manager in the hiring, training and develop of the sales staff-
o Helps generate sales leads through Company sponsored (walk-ins and telephonic inquiry) and employee sponsored (outreach and promotions)
• Updating Daily Sales Tracker to reporting authority.
• Motivates the sales staff and monitors their production levels by using the established protocols and sales systems.
• Audit sales team on a weekly basis.
• Maintain an acceptable level of personal production.
• Reviews monthly schedule of training, sales promotions and department meetings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Must possess well–developed understanding & use of management skills such as recruitments, sales, goal setting, management etc, fitness training etc.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferable 2 year in fitness industry.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Minimum Graduate or equivalent education required.
