Job Description:

· To grow IMA’s CEO, CFO, CHRO and CMO Forums through sales efforts targeted at each functional group across industry in the given city of operation. Practically, these would involve, for each Forum sales representative:  Selling the assigned Forum to the respective functional head (CEO, CFO, CHRO or CMO) at a daily and weekly pace. These are one-on-one meetings, offering great exposure, but will demand a comfort with this level of engagement, as well as the ability to close deals in single meetings with top leadership. Sales are incentivized in IMA and minimum benchmarks of closure are provided  Ongoing identification of potential clients through consistent and ongoing market research to build databases, refresh existing ones is expected.

· On display of capability, IMA’s other services will be offered as an opportunity to the team member to upsell to prospective or existing client bases. These initiatives are strong revenue drivers for IMA and include its syndicated, proprietary research practice and projects as well as independent research reports on key subjects. Core skills expected are like those indicated above, but expect a strong interest in issues, related to both business and policy, of value and prioritization in the nation at large.

· As the sales lead country team member, involvement with and eventual management of IMA conferences and Roundtables may also be offered. All sales leads contribute to IMA conclaves with the active creation and refreshment of prospective IMA databases. Further initiatives are offered for contribution basis aptitude and interest.

Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate:

· Who are we looking for IMA is seeking to strong expansion in the next two years, and is looking for team members to engage on this ambition of rapid growth. Roles are offered in each of IMA’s six cities of operation in the areas of sales/business development as well as in client retention/relationship management. Individuals with interest in both areas may be offered a combined role.

· Self-driven, with the clear ability to take independent initiative  Positive attitude  High energy

· Possesses an eye for detail

· Strong command over written and spoken English language, with the ability to frame communication, both written and verbal

· Active and continually enhanced understanding of market and sectoral dynamics in industry in India

· The ability to sustain focus on outcome as opposed simply on effort, and through that, to ensure that effort itself is not spared to reach individual and collective goals.

· Comfort with conversation and engagement with India’s most senior business executives  Enjoys the challenge of engaging with senior leadership, yet has the capacity to run detailed, back-end initiatives on CRMs as well as ongoing ground level research

· Can run with the pressure of a retail-level sales rhythm, engaging with over 40 senior executives a month. In turn, that demands the capacity to identify prospects and reach out, through an ongoing outreach effort, to a minimum number of corporations/industry leaders each week. o IMA provides minimum benchmarks of expectations basis is experience in the area as the country’s leading peer group Forum creator.

· Each IMAn is expected to contribute to the firm’s key initiatives such as its annual top leadership offsite as core members of Forum teams. Depending on capability, these efforts can include sponsorship sales, participation drives among members and prospects and on ground management of IMA conclaves.
