BIM / Revit Structural Modeler

Job Description:

Generate structural Revit models and corresponding drawings including plans, sections, isometrics, schedules and details.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings
Develop detailed design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD softwareCoordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systemsDraw and detail plans for foundations, buildings and structures based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other dataModification of drawings with necessary changes

Education/Experience:

Associates degree or higher

3 - 5 years of recent Revit Structural experience

Proficient in AutoCAD (5+ years of experience)

Navisworks / clash detection experience desirable, but not required

Structural drafting experience for construction drawing including structural detailing (building and infrastructure projects).

Skills/Qualifications:

Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge

Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization

Ability to work under deadline pressure

Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client communication
