The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will be responsible for processing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing financial insights to management.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date <a href="https://doodle-baseball.com">doodle baseball</a> financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide analysis and recommendations to management
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support decision-making
Assist with the preparation of audit documents and liaise with external auditors
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, or CA) preferred
3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
