POLY SLIK® brand products are in-house extrusion coated and siliconised release papers. POLY SLIK® is ideal for certain uses within the graphics and medical markets. They offer excellent: Dimensional stability Flatness Surface smoothness Strength properties Colors available: white and natural (unbleached) Base papers: Various grades available. Polymers used: LDPE, HDPE, MDPE and Polypropylene Finishes: Matte or Gloss Silicone coatings: One or two sides with either solvent based or solventless silicones. Standard easy or modified release Release: Standard easy or modified Grammage/Basis Weight: 63-223 gsm (39-137#) Printing: Most grades are available with one color printing
PRIMELINER™ range of products are direct silicone coated polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and polystyrene (PS) films with either one or two-sided release options. In addition to standard one and two-sided silicone coatings, we offer very stable one and two-sided siliconized liner with the option to use solvent-based or solventless chemistries. This product line is ideal for certain uses in the medical, industrial, and composites industries. Polypropylene (PP) High temperature resistance Good conformability Available in several colors Thicknesses from 28 microns Polyester (PET) High tensile and tear resistance High temperature and solvent resistance Thickness 12 - 190 microns High-density polyethylene (HDPE) Rigid with good tensile and tear resistance Better temperature resistance than LDPE Available in several colors Thickness 25-125 microns Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) Good temperature resistance (better than LDPE, but lower than HDPE) Good conformability Available in several colors Thicknesses from 40-200 microns Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) Low solvent and heat resistance Good conformability Available in several colors Thickness 70-125 microns Polystyrene (PS) or High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) Consistent release Cleanliness Thermoformable Excellent for die-cut applications Thicknesses from 125-250 microns
FILM PLUS® products have polyolefin extruded onto two sides of a film substrate. A typical construction would have polyolefin extruded onto two sides of a PET film, then silicone coated on onto one of both sides. Alternate base films can be used to meet application specific needs. These liners are ideal for certain uses within medical, industrial and tape market segments. FILM PLUS® offers excellent: •Dimensional stability •Conformability with special aesthetics and soft touch •Gloss/matte surface construction with smooth silicone coated surface for adhesive coating •Semi-Opaque and soft matte reverse side Thickness: 60-200 gsm (37-124#) Printing: Available with one-side printing (encapsulated under the PE coating).
Loparex, one of the leading blown film manufacturers in North America, has multiple blown film lines with a wide range of capabilities to produce various plastic films. At Loparex, our coated blown films are available from 30 to 350 microns (1.2 to 14.0 mils) thickness and in widths up to 2337 mm (92”), and in multiple colors depending on resin, caliper and width produced. We’ll work with you to develop a solution that meets your specific needs. Typical film types include PP, LLDPE, HDPE, MDPE and LDPE. Loparex also offers custom resins, including EVA and EMAC. These include: - Color customizations - Physical property modifications, including tensile, tear, elongation, and more - Slip and anti-block additives - Flame retardancy - Anti-static properties - UV stability - Anti-microbial additives - Peelable layers Blown Film Applications Typical blown films applications include: - Agricultural film - Bag films - Industrial packaging - Consumer packaging - Laminating film - Barrier film - Multi-layer film
LOPASIL® brand products are paper release liners with silicone coated directly on one or both sides. Paper and silicone formulation solutions are based on factors like whether the release liner will be removed during a high speed converting process or individually by an end-user. Most products are available with one-color printing. All are available with a solventless or a solvent-based coating and with easy or modified release properties. LOPASIL® liners are often used in applications when strength and temperature resistance are critical, as well as applications requiring the most economical solutions. Good temperature High strength(tensile & tear) Good stiffness Bleached or natural Grammage: 60-120 g/m2 LOPASIL® Supercalendered Kraft Papers LOPASIL® Glassine Papers LOPASIL® Clay Coated Kraft Paper LOPASIL® CK - Cling Vinyl is an important segment of the demanding graphics market. The “clean” aspect of a “non-adhesive” bond makes this one of the more challenging applications for a release liner. Loparex’s innovative Lopasil®-CK Liners for adhesive-free cling vinyl applications offer improved performance and value for both manufacturers and users of cling vinyl graphics. The Lopasil®-CK Advantage Unique Loparex non-silicone surface technology Ultra smooth surface characteristics Natural affinity to non-adhesive Cling PVC chemistry Consistent bond and release characteristics Best-in-Class versatility and robustness Works with room temperature and heated lamination Won’t react to plasticizers maintains a consistent bond and release over time
