We are the original built by Masaaki Imai > Our founder, Masaaki Imai
Three decades after the publication of Masaaki Imai’s "Kaizen: The secret to Japans competitive success", KAIZEN™ has become an everyday word in business circles. True understanding of how to implement KAIZEN™ as part of an organization’s culture is still limited, so the mission of Kaizen Institute continues.
In 1985 Masaaki Imai founded Kaizen Institute – the original lean management consultancy. Today, with more than 30+ offices operating in over 40+ countries, our team of highly trained and sought after professionals work to advance the continuous improvement body of knowledge worldwide and have applied the lean methodology across virtually all business sectors. We work with our clients to create processes that highlight problems, whilst simultaneously training and empowering their teams to solve them. We research, develop, and publish various aspects of continuous improvement, while partnering with our clients and enabling them to implement sustainable improvements through our consulting, training and benchmarking activities, while guiding them on their KAIZEN™ journey.
Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who have travelled the journey of lean transformation. We are leaders who know from experience what works and what doesn’t. We understand that success is not only about getting tangible financial results but also about developing people capable of sustaining while thriving within such a system. Kaizen Institute actively lives the values of KAIZEN™ through the transfer of knowledge and expertise to client teams, and in their quest for continued self-development and improvement.
We serve clients through on-site training and consultation, public events and seminars, best practice tours and international study missions, and the publication of print and electronic materials.
