The core team has more than 150 man years of experience in technology, training, education management, information technology and on-line learning strategies for knowledge based economy.

The team has good experience in providing live tutoring support to schools and colleges by streaming live the classes conducted in studios. At iScholar, we aim to create a national knowledge grid and connect the good teachers in the country to students wherever they are and provide them a quality and meaningful education at affordable cost. We plan to set-up our state-of-the-art studios in all major metros and connect them through internet and engage the best teachers to teach exactly the same way they teach in a normal classroom. They will use various multimedia learning objects, various educational tools and virtual labs to augment their teaching. A HD camera captures the class live and stream to our Content Delivery Network of cloud servers. Any learner with an internet connectivity of only 100 kbps should be able to view the live classes and he or she can also interact with the teacher. Live and archived sessions can be easily accessed using desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile phone. It can also be viewed using smart TVs using the built-in browser and wi-fi connectivity. To begin this education revolution in India, we have set up our state-of-the-art studios Chennai. Sooner, we will be setting up our studios in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin to provide quality education to students in various Southern states and quickly expand across India. We expect dramatic changes in on-line education space in India in the next 2 to 3 years time. On-line education market in India is set to grow to USD 40 Billion by 2017 from the current $20 Billion.
